My daughter (now 61) used to line everyone up and take our picture in order to prove what a “good time” we all had – much to the chagrin of the rest of the family.
Now when I see all the merriment posting in Facebook on holidays and I’m not a part of all that, I giggle like a girl. Life is what I make of it.
I thought of those old days this Thanksgiving when someone new to our group was lining us up for a photo of our fun. I just smiled and waved to the camera thinking of how “the rest of the family” always posts that same picture now. All around a restaurant table. “Everybody smile!”
